This policy explains what information the Free AI Storage Android app ("the app") accesses, how it's used, and what data our advertising partner, Google AdMob, collects when you use the app. We built the app to do its work on your device — this policy is here so you know exactly what that means.

1. Data the app accesses on your device

To find junk files, duplicate photos, and blurry images, the app requests access to your device's photos and storage. This scanning and comparison happens entirely on your device.

Photos and media files are analyzed locally to detect duplicates and blur.
Cache and file metadata are read locally to identify reclaimable storage.
No photos, files, or file contents are uploaded to our servers or any third party as part of this scanning process.

2. Information we collect directly

We do not require an account to use the app, and we do not collect your name, email address, or file contents. We may receive limited, non-identifying technical data (such as crash logs and app performance metrics) to help us fix bugs and keep the app working reliably.

3. Advertising and Google AdMob

The app is free to use and is supported by ads served through Google AdMob. AdMob is a third-party advertising service, and when it serves ads within the app it may collect and process data under its own privacy practices, separate from ours.

Data AdMob may collect or use includes:

You can limit ad personalization at any time in your device's Google Settings → Ads, including resetting or deleting your advertising ID. Google's own use of data collected through AdMob is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and, where applicable, the AdMob data collection disclosure.

4. Google Play Services

The app relies on standard Google Play services for distribution, crash reporting, and core Android functionality. Google's handling of this data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We do not share your photos or files with anyone. Limited technical and advertising data is shared only with Google AdMob and Google Play services as described above, for the purposes of serving ads and operating the app.

6. Your choices

You can revoke storage or photo permissions at any time in your device's app settings.
You can opt out of personalized ads via your device's ad settings.
You can uninstall the app at any time, which removes all app-local data from your device.

7. Children's privacy

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
